2019 Scholarship Winners Announcement

The FIA Operations Americas Division is pleased to announce the winners of our 2019 Scholarship Program. The division has granted a total of $20,000 in scholarship awards - $2,500 to each of our 8 recipients. Since inception, the Operations Americas Division has awarded scholarships to 155 academic scholars totaling $353,500. We are proud to showcase and support the children of our members as they pursue their academic careers, and are grateful for the continued participation and support of our division membership. Please join us in congratulating the 2019 Scholarship winners and their parents.

Gemma Abbott, the daughter of Scott Abbott of UBS. Gemma will be a Finance major at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Hannah Anderson, the daughter of Thomas Anderson of ADM Investor Services. Hannah is a Political Science major at Washington University in St. Louis.

Audrey Ashburn, the daughter of Nancy Ashburn of John J. Lothian & Company. Audrey is a Psychology major at the University of Illinois.

Orla Levens, the daughter of Russell Levens of G.H. Financials. Orla is a Political Science and Communications major at Northeastern University in Boston.

Kellie McCabe, the daughter of Thomas McCabe of OneChicago. Kellie is a Business Analytics major at the University of Notre Dame.

William Rand, the son of Steve Rand of Société Générale. William will be a Chemical Engineering major at the University of Illinois.

Seamus Retzloff, the son of Stephen Retzloff of ABN Amro Clearing Chicago. Seamus will be a Finance major at Miami University.

Max Schmidt-Bailey, the son of Barbara Schmidt-Bailey of CME Group. Seamus is a Biology major at Seattle University.
